We’re trying something new this week on The Devil’s Advocates, besides discussions about midgets – production value! We’ve got a brand spanking new intro full of even more idiocy, we’ve got stingers and stagers to go between segments, it sounds almost like it was actually produced and not cobbled together… these are symptoms of the sickness we’re currently suffering from: we’re starting to care about this podcast. It’s uncharted territory for us.
We’ve got some new guests this week, Kim and Scoob, both of whom provide the thoughtful female perspective that we need in our discussions. Unfortunately, instead of starting a meaningful dialogue with them, we’d rather mock them for their lucky lot in life, being born into upper class families. We then talk about midgets and all their interesting attributes, specifically how many it would take to bring down a full sized human, and how it’s irrelevant that the word “midgets” is the n-word for little people… because they can’t really do anything about it. Then Josh starts to open up about a very sensitive subject… and we proceed to not care. And make fun of him. Because we’re awful people. Then in another segment, we discuss the embarrassing but true adventures of our sexually fueled 14 year old selves. “Where does it go in? How does it go in? Condoms are confusing!” Are things we say in our adult lives, but when we were young it was even worse. I defy you to find a single male who didn’t MacGuyver a way to have sex with a piece of furniture at some point in his youth.
