Everyone’s excited about the “Cosmos” TV show, but Ben had a slightly different idea of what the show should be like… so he submits to us his concept, “Cosmos Kramer: A Racist Odyssey.” It’s the heartwarming story of a man, Cosmo Kramer, who has been hiding a secret kept locked away from the public. His secret is that he’s a horrible racist, and he’s losing the ability to control it. Soon Kramer is faced with the impossible as he must work with Neil deGrasse Tyson, one of the smartest and most accomplished people on Earth… who just happens to be black.
Kramer’s racist rants find new depths of offense, but as he works with Tyson his racism comes into question as he realizes he doesn’t actually hate Neil. Through soul searching, questioning and a cosmic journey that ultimately opens his mind, Kramer learns that hating a particular race is not the logical conclusion of mankind if we are to survive and further explore the galaxy. Ultimately this leads to a very strange, awkward apology to the “afro-americans” on David Letterman… while Jerry Seinfeld wonders just what in the hell he is trying to accomplish brokering this apology.
And if Cosmos Kramer isn’t enough for you, we also discuss conspiracies about the missing Malaysia plane, and we wonder if people would still be prejudice towards gays if religion had never existed. Ben even pulls a complete role reversal and tries out buying into conspiracies and being racist. It’s the bizarro world, Jerry!
